             Sprayed Panels - Paneltech

                Product Information

Paneltech is a toughened enamelled glass available in a standard range of non—transparent colours.

The glass is coated with ceramic paint which is spray applied to one side of the glass. After drying it is then fired at high temperature  to give a durable finish.

In single glazed form they achieve a u-value of 5.7 W/m2K which is the same as float glass, however they can be insulated with a polyfoam backing which is foil backed to improve thermal performance.

Aluminium trays can be incorporated to house the insulation and provide an aesthetic appearance when viewed from inside the building.

Applications

Typically used in non-vision areas and generally referred to as spandrel panels this product can be used to conceal structural elements associated with the glazing system or building.

Other applications can include the use of the product in design elements such as cladding and interior design.

In double glazed form they are usually referred to as “lookalike” panels since they give a compliment the appearance of the vision area glazing, particularly when reflective and tinted glasses are used.

It is not recommended that un-insulated paneltech products be used in areas where the glazing can be viewed from both sides.
